Good examples of bus/rail integration - where the one is timed to meet the other - may be few and far between, but this recent example from Derby makes welcome reading. The BBC article is here...
"The evening timetable has changed to tie in better with Derby Railway Station arrivals from London, Birmingham and Leeds".
As regards Chinley station's (weekday) arrivals and departures and whether or not they dovetail at all with the High Peak 190 bus service, Northern Rail Sheffield bound trains (for most of the day) depart around 20 past the hour, whereas most Manchester Northern Rail bound services depart around 5 to the hour.
