Incroyable mais vrai ! The Women’s 2027 Tour de France is coming to the Peak District !
This post is a little late as the news broke in late April, but stage two of the 2027 Tour de France des Femmes is due to pass through New Mills, Whaley Bridge, Buxton, Tideswell and Castleton, where Winnats Pass will really test the riders with its 12.6% incline. The route then continues via Chinley, Hayfield, Glossop and then via the Snake Pass to Sheffield.
The race enters Sheffield via a succession of short but demanding climbs, including Oughtibridge and Jenkin Road - climbs which were already used for the finish of the Tour de France in 2014. The finish will be on Attercliffe Common.
