Network Rail's emergency repairs at Hague Bar (west of New Mills Central) will continue until the Autumn and have necessitated changes in services on the Hope Valley line, which, according to Network Rail and Northern, should now revert to normal  from Monday 23rd September.

Meanwhile services between Chinley and Manchester Piccadilly continue to divert via Hazel Grove and Stockport, with a bus service between Chinley and Marple. Our previous post from the 29th May 2024 contains further details on this situation
