The emergency engineering works near New Mills Central have necessitated major re-routing and timetable changes on the Sheffield to Manchester line.

Until further notice, a revised train service and rail replacement bus service is in operation on the route between Manchester, New Mills Central & Sheffield.

Stops between Chinley and Sheffield are not affected, but the Manchester bound trains from Chinley are now re-rerouted via Hazel Grove and Stockport.
