It's taken 20 months of reporting to the train operating company, but now the Yellow Line has been reinstated on the Manchester bound platform at Chinley station. The photograph accompanying this post shows how sensible it is to 'keep back behind the yellow line' - and for platform users to heed this advice, there does need to be a yellow line !

The station shelter door on platform 2 was vandalised  - ripped off its hinges - in January 2025 but has now been repaired as well !!
